Step 1: Turn On Device Location

1. Open your phone’s Settings

2. Tap Location (sometimes under Security & privacy or Connections)

3. Make sure Use location is turned on

4. Tap App location permissions to manage which apps can access your location

 

Step 2: Enable Location Access for Your Browser

Google Chrome

1. Open Settings → Apps → Chrome → Permissions

2. Tap Location

3. Choose Allow only while using the app (recommended)

4. Open Chrome → visit a site → when prompted, tap Allow to share your location

 

Alternatively, you can check within Chrome itself:

1. Open Chrome → ⋮ (three dots) → Settings → Site settings → Location

2. Turn Location on

3. Ensure Ask before accessing is enabled so you get a prompt each time

 

Part 3: Clear or Reset Site Permissions

If a site doesn’t prompt for location anymore:

1. Open your browser

2. Go to Settings → Site settings → Location

3. Look for the site under “Blocked” or “Allowed” → tap it → Clear & reset
